In what was the most anticipated NBA Draft Lottery ever, the San Antonio Spurs came out as the ultimate victors on Tuesday night. For the third time in franchise history, the Spurs will own the first overall pick in the NBA Draft and will be taking French big man Victor Wembanyama. The Spurs have had a lot of luck picking first overall in the past, as the likes of Tim Duncan and David Robinson turned out to be pretty good players for one of the league’s greatest franchises. The Charlotte Hornets and Portland Trail Blazers also ended up as big winners in the lottery, as they both jumped inside the top three, claiming the second and third overall picks, respectively.
