Welcome to our 2023 NBA Mock Draft (assuming no big trades occur between now and Thursday night)! Since our previous update, the Washington Wizards traded Bradley Beal to the Phoenix Suns for Chris Paul and other stuff. Michael Gorman already broke down the potential impact of that trade, but I find it hard to believe CP3 actually plays a game for the Wizards this season. There are Championship-ready teams that should be willing to move pieces to acquire the veteran point guard. Draymond Green (Warriors) and Fred VanVleet (Raptors) have opted out of their contracts. We anticipate Victor Wembanyama will call San Antonio home as the Spurs won the NBA Lottery and the privilege to select the next big Superstar to enter the Association. Wembanyama will join a young nucleus of talent in San Antonio with guys like Keldon Johnson, Devin Vassell, Jeremy Sochan, Tre Jones and Malaki Branham.
